The book Give A Boy A Gun is about these 2 boys who held up there school dance and tried to kill the people that made their lives miserable.  The way the story was told was by people Gary and Brendan knew.   And they were sharing their thoughts and experiences on what was going and on what they thought about the boys.  Through out the book it led closer and closer to the day this all happened but it was like they were sharing their thoughts about what is going to happen.  Also the way some of the people were sharing their thoughts they were talking outside of the book directly at the reader while it still connected to the story.

This whole book really stresses that respect is due to everyone and no one deserves to be smaller then anyone else.  Now my interpretation on this book is that emotions can make you do certain things and react with your surroundings. that your emotions can control your thoughts and feelings.  An example is since Brendan was all ways being picked on it made filled with rage and made him try to kill those who tortured him.  Also that people don't accept others that are different in appearance and/or personality and/or physical characteristics.

I also interpreted that everyone is different and everyone takes things differently.  An example is that some one can be laughing at some thing some one said and another person can cry because of it.  Another thing was that guns make a big influence to "solve" a problem if they are around.  Lastly one big thing is that suicide isn't just some one dying it is a whole big issue.  when some one commits suicide everyone is blown away at what happened, there are so many mixed emotions expressed, and now everyone that knew the person has to live with it and realizes what that person did for them in their life and how much they cared about the person.
